HAPPINESS

“Happiness is everything around you.”

When I was a child, I do not understand my parents because they never forgive me in what I am wishing for just as if I want to ride in a bike because all of my friends have a bike and they were enjoying and so I must have to. In many years later, I grew with no talent in biking and then one night I have just realize how blessed I am to have a caring and responsible parents , there is a point that I didn’t learned how to ride in a bike but it is all because they don’t want to get me hurt and feel bad.

I was born with a simple life, waking up in the morning with a cup of coffee and a “Hot Pandesal” together with my Parents, Sisters and my little brother, reading a tabloid newspaper and just to see comics or jokes inside of it, watching television or listening nice music and having craze with my favorite “chicharon”. That is how my life goes every day, so simple and blessed because in that moment I am not alone because my family is there happy and healthy with me.

Simple life is where I am contented, not anybody cared in what you are doing, in the way you comb your hair, and in dressing yourself and on how you deal with other people. There is no strings attached but simplicity is limited you do not know that you are growing and time by time, you might be popular than ever and so that is the start of my so-called nightmare.

When I am in high School I started to improve my talent as a Dancer, At first I joined in Theatrical plays and critics were get me into the grave by saying that I have no talent in dancing and I am not capable with it. The steps were so difficult, the choreographer was so angry with me, and I do not know why maybe because dancing is not my talent. I am so sad at that time and I think dancing is not for me but this is what I love to do. Every night I cannot sleep because of the disappointment that I had. I have just realize that practicing is more important than thinking that I am not good in dancing and so, every morning I just practice together with my sister. In our house there is no choreography, you can do what you think and being crazy is unlimited, after that, I learned to dance with the perfect timing and it is all because I enjoy it and my sister. She said that she is my avid fan and all her support is into me. As time goes by, I pursue my passion in dancing and so I became a Dance Instructor in my college days and I became a choreographer in elementary and high school students.

Every people needs happiness, others go outside just to take in a Bar, Dance with somebody that they do not know, Drink some Heavy Brandy’s, smoke with an imported cigarettes and playing in a five star casino and just to fulfill their selves. However, what is happiness? Is it the car that your father’s gift in your graduation or a playing basketball with Yao Ming?

For me, happiness is when you wake up in the morning and your mother is there to give you a warm bath, your father is there to say that “ANAK, LATE KA NA”(My child you are late), and your brothers and sisters is there to laugh with you. Actually, Happiness is not enough to defined them and so they are my “GOOD BLESSINGS” that I never expecting for and how lucky I am to have them.
